Narrow Gauge Modelling in 009 Scale

009 scale, modelling 2ft or 2ft 6in gauge railways in 4mm scale to run on N scale track has grown steadily in popularity over the years as it enables a good narrow gauge layout to be built in a restricted space.

For British prototypes, there is very little 'ready to run' available, although there are a resonable number of kits available, many of which use the chasis from the more numerous continental models.

This really excellent book is a very good introduction to every aspect of modelling in 009 scale, being comprehensive, full of detail, and also very clear. In fact it is possibly the best introductory book on railway modelling in the smaller gauges I have come across.
