Finally, after more than three years of hard work by the author, the long-awaited and much longer awaited publication on the history and operation of American-made standard-gauge steam locomotives on the Polish State Railways has appeared on bookstore shelves. The issues described in the book have interested its author, Tomasz Roszak, for a long time, and the effects of his interests were, for example, articles on the history of American steam locomotives on Polish lands published in magazines dealing with, among other things, the history of railways. Finally, however, it became possible to present them in a form and content that met the expectations of both the author and the readers, and the effect of this fascination was a publication extraordinary in both form and content. At the same time, it turned out that it was all the more worth waiting for a book by Tomasz Roszak, because in many respects it sets completely new standards; both among books dealing with the history of railways in Poland and generally "railway literature" published in Poland.

Hardbacked, as new. 415 pages full of photos and several drawings. Very good Condition.
