Cat Drinking from a Puddle - from the 'Old Codger's Cookbook'

David claims in the book that he would be preparing food on the kitchen table, and would find himself being closely observed by his cat, a mouse and, sometimes, a toad, and knowing the man and his cottage, I could just about believe this story (it is in the book). Anyway, this delightful drawing illustrates a cat having a drink, although I suspect he cat is probably Wendy's rather than David's.
