Three hundred and four A4 format pages, packed with the history of all British built aircraft that could fly from and land on water.

Until the end of World War 1 the development of such aircraft was driven almost entirely by naval needs, and this period occupies almost a third of the book. The period up to WW11, including the Schneider Trophy aircraft and the development of civilian flying boats takes up rather more pages and the remainder covers the Second World War and period up to 1951, at which point the British waterplane era ended.
