Engineering Materials
An authoritative treatise on, in reality, metals - their composition, variations, strengths, stiffness, fatigue, failure, hardness and so on.
Very well done, with two interesting sections that cover disasters where metal fatigue/failure was the cause. However, the extent of the information is perhaps rather more than most model engineers need, although certainly good for engineering students. But keep a copy in your workshop, and the information will be there when you need it.
160 pages, with many diagrams, drawings, tables and colour photos. Hardbound.
