The Acquired Wagons of British Railways - Volume 2

This second volume in this series covers All-steel Mineral Wagons and Loco Coal Wagons.

Covers all the steel built open wagons that were amalgamated in the BR fleet on nationalisation - a surprising number, notably from private owners, in all shapes and sizes.

As with Vol. 1, whilst the numbering and renumbering may be of interest to the specialist, the major interest in this book, and subsequent volumes, is the large number of B&W photographs (over 250 here) which give a huge amount of detail for the modeller in any scale. No drawings though. 144 pages in all and hardbound.
