Anatomie der Dampflokomotive - Giesl Gieslingen
From the Library of George Carpenter.
This interesting German language book, authored by Giesl-Gieslingen of Giesl ejector fame.
This book is essentially the author's equivalent to "La Locomotive a Vapeur", it is profusely illustrated with drawings, photographs etc. In fact it probably contains more straight technical information than Chapelon's work. It also concentrates on the Austrian/German technical side, rather than the French. The text is in German.
Published in 1986. 367 pages, Hardbound.
Condition: Dust Jacketslightlybent at two corners. Text pages largely very good, although there are a series of indentations on some pages near the bottom edge, presumably arising from the binding process.
