Pakistan Steam - Historic steam action in 1982 App 53 mins DVD
Highly recommended and updated for release on DVD, this is the first archive video from Railstuff. Shot in 1982 by G. Watkins on Super-8 cine film, this shows steam, and some diesel, operations over Pakistan Railways at a time when the classic BESA 4-4-0s and 0-6-0s were still in everyday service, including the latter here in charge of the weekly train over the Khyber Pass. This sequence, and a run over the Bolan Pass in deep snow are the highlights of this film, but there is much, much more to enjoy.
