Pictorial Supplement: The 'Coronation' Pacifics

A 'Pictorial Supplement' to LMS Locomotive Profile No. 11, whilst this is mainly B&W pictures with good captions, it also includes a number of drawings, some on the original streamlined casing and a number of the two final locomotives in the class. These were No. 6256, Sir William A. Stanier. F.R.S. and No. 46257 City of Salford, the latter entering service after nationalisation.  Both were quite extensively modified designs by H.G. Ivatt.
