Volume 2 of this duo which celebrate the life of Dante Porta, this time focusing on his later work in Argentina, Brazil, the UK, with the modified and upgraded Hunslet 0-6-0 tank locos for the National Coal Board, Cuba and the USA.

There are also Obituaries, Designs that were never built, including Porta's propsals for the 'Tornado' project, Reflections and Postscripts. Very little of this is deeply technical - in fact the technicalities and principles should be understandable by anyone with an interest in the steam locomotive.
