In 1960 N Gauge arrived, to be followed in 1963 on the same gauge of track, by Egger-bahn, which initially modelled industrial narrow gauge, first offering a Gmeinder 'locotacteur' to pull very light wagons

1968 saw the arrival of LGB running on Gauge 1 track, after which new arrival arrived thick and fast - Jouef, MinitrainS, Marklin, Fleischmann Magic Train, Gecomodel and Lilliput amongst many others, all described in this glorious book, which certainly brings back those earlier days of narrow gauge modelling.
