Rails through Castlerock

£12.95

A good selection of full page colour or B&W photos of railway activity and surroundings in Northern Ireland, shortly before the point where the Portrush line leaves the Belfast to Londonderry one. Largely taken in the 1970s & 80s, this being a period when N!R employed 'power cars', which looked like railcars (and had passenger accommodation) but could be employed singly or in multiple pulling longish trains of passenger coaches, or goods vehicles.

Also shown here are two of the RPSNI steam locomotives, CIE diesel locomotives and some of those built by Hunslet for Northern Ireland Railways.
