Niagara Falls

£12.95

Quite why a Scottish publisher has brought out this book, I know not, but as a base introduction to the subject it is nice.

A mix of 500 largely full page landscape format photographs, the vast majority being publicity photographs from the 1860s to the 1960s and a mix of B&W and colour shots.

Interesting, and a lot of incidental information - did you know that the famous French tightrope walker, Charles Blondin, who made the first tightrope crossing of the falls, retired to his home 'Niagara House' in Ealing, West London and died there in July 1876?

48 pages, Paperback.
