More Reflections of Living Steam
Barry Finch's third book of recent years, this with 92 A4 landscape prints of some of his vast collection of road steam dating in some cases from the 1950s, but the 60's & 70's feature more, showing both engines on the road (with no traffic) and the early traction engine rallies, long before Health and Safety restrictions came to the fore.
Barry was a professional photographer, and the quality of the photographs is exceptionally high. There are photographs of all types and makes of traction engines, rollers, ploughing engines & showmans featured here, although the largest number of photograps are of those from Aveling & Porter and Burrells.
These are photographs to delight anyone with an interest in road steam!
