Ploughing Engines at Work SPECIAL PRICE!
Back in 1962, 58 B&W photographs of ploughing engines, ploughs, mole drainers, cultivators and so on, taken by a young professional photographer called Barry Finch, were published as a small book.
Happily Barry, and his negatives, are still with us, as his book has now been reprinted to twice the previous size, with the photographs rescanned, to give a wonderful record of virtually the last ploughing engines in regular work. The sequence of the photographs remains the same as in the original book, but a detailed commentary by the late Rev. R.C. Stebbing has been added, explaining the operations shown.
72 pages. 58 wonderful B&W photographs reproduced one to a page. Paperback, and exceptional value. (was £11.95)
