Casting for the Home Workshop
A huge amount of information on the metalurgy involved in casting metals and making moulds, but with considerably less on pattern making and making your own furnace.
This focus may be implicit in the title but it does mean that this book is likely to scare the wits out of anyone considering doing some metal casting for the first time; they would be better to start with one of the other books we offer on the subject, such as "The Charcoal Foundry" or "Foundrywork for the Amateur".
But for anyone who has some experience of casting and wants to improve their metal quality in particular, this book will be a goldmine!
175 pages. Full of drawings, sketches, tables and colour photographs. Hardbound.
