KINGMOOR Carlisle's locomotive sheds - Vol.1

In the year 1900, the Border city of Carlise had no less than seven engine sheds, the largest of which by some way was the Caledonian's Etterby shed, renamed Kingmoor in 1915.

This very well produced book tells of the early days,  from the Caley's first shed at West Walls, prior to the move to Etterby and on to the end of steam. Also includes shed allocations at various times throughout the shed's existence up till closure on the 31st December 1967.
