First Edition, published in 1929 by the " Fédération générale des mécaniciens et chauffeurs, wattmen, élèves et faisant fonctions des chemins de fer en France, colonies et pays de protectorat". (I just love the description of a driver of an electric locomotive or EMU as a 'Wattman'!).

Grouped by countries, and then railways, this contains B&W photos, plus basic technical details of steam locomotives, plus some electric found in many countries around the world. Plus there is a 345 page Appendix of technical information.

CONDITION: Front cover has been bent, and the whole book has clearly been much referred to. Tight other than a small number of pages at the front.
