Quarry Hunslets of North Wales - The Great (Little) Survivors

First printed in 2001, reprinted and updated in 2004, this is a paperback reprint, but with no loss of quality to the inside pages.

This is a detail history of all the Hunslet built, mainly 2 foot gauge 0-4-0 tank locomotives which roamed all over the slate quarries of North Wales, notably of the good number which have been preserved. Huge amounts of detail, both technical and on service history, numerous B&W photos a number being of locomotives being restored, which are excellent for detail.

These Hunslets are very popular models, notably in the live steam gauges from 16mm NG up to 7 1/4" gauge, and anybody building a model will find this a most useful reference source.

Apologies for the quality of the pages shown. The book is thick, and difficult to lay flat to scan. In the end a mobile phone's camera was used and the book held by hand, causing seeming distortion, although the real pages are very good.
